The Theory of Dwelling must gather the contributions of an ethnography of urban life which meticulously collects the social practices related to the inhabiting of cities. How urbanites dream and conceive their inhabiting experience should be researched. They project it to the future, they demand it politically, they produce and consume it. It is about researching the tricks available to urbanites to appropriate themselves of the city that is being stolen from them to the benefit of extensive urbanization.
